The concert was well done. Christina had a great sound and she performed very well on stage. Most of the songs you hear on the radio sound great in the concert. She had a variety of songs and kept the audience interested.

Devil Rejects

If it wasn't for the fact that this was such a gross and sick movie, I would tell you to buy it. There are all sorts of dismemberment and blood in this movie. Some films hint at the brutality and torture, but this film shows it. That is really gruesome. For example, Sin City was a bloody movie but most of the gore was not shown.

The cast was really awesome and the twisted characters they portrayed were nicely done. The film takes you into their world and how they live it. The realism that Rob Zombie created is horribly interesting and exciting.

If you enjoyed House of 1000 Corpses, you will enjoy this one too. This is the horror movie of the next century.

Flowers of Shanghai

Even with Tony Leung among the cast, this was a horrible movie. A total waste of time. I usually don't mind subtitles but this was a super slow movie. Sometimes you will be watching a person doing absolutely nothing for a few minutes. On the big screen, even 30 seconds of doing nothing is bad.

The movie was also very dark and gloomy. I know the director wanted to show the flower houses in the 19th century with girls and opium, but it was very difficult to watch. There was no point to the film.

Upside of Anger

Joan Allen was spectacular in her role as a mom of four daughters who had a husband who disappeared. You can see the anger that she has for the world because of all the things that are happening to her. Her husband is gone with his Swedish secretary and her daughters are going wild. That must drive a woman crazy.

Definitely a chick flick with some black comedy but worth watching if you can sit there for over 2 hours.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Johnny Depp is marvelous in his performance as an eccentric owner of the world's best chocolate factory. His selfmade land is colorful and happy. The tunes are catchy and the Oompa Loompa are really spectacular to watch. Can you believe one man play all those characters?

Not just a movie for kids but a delight for all ages.

Such a disappointment. I was expecting a boxing movie better than Rocky or even Million Dollar Baby, but it doesn't even come close. It was such a boring life history of Muhammad Ali. You see him KO a few guys and sleep with a few women. Not real exciting stuff.

I know it should be a good documentary of his life, but please make it interesting.

A Lot Like Love

This was borderline not rentable. It started out slow and the characters were dull. Luckily, Ashton and Amanda developed some chemistry and became likeable. They were a cute couple and you wanted to see their happy ending. Also, some good music along the way helped in the movie's development.

Hostage

This is a high intense drama. It it a must see for a suspenseful ride. Bruce Willis is always on his feet and keeps the audience guessing. Incredible music and action. Just when you thought you figured it out, something new is added to the mix.

Jessica Simpson Reality Tour

Even if you are fans of Newlywed and Jessica Simpson, you will hate this concert. I don't know what it is, but Jessica Simpson's songs really suck. They are so boring. She has a great voice but maybe just one song sound decent. That is ridicoulous. Whoever wrote her music got to quit the business. If she is writing them, goddamit, please pay for a music writer.

Mona Lisa Smile

At times, the movie is very dull because there is too much talking. Blah, blah, blah. However, it gave a good representation of the 1950s and that was interesting. Times has changed so much. Today's women married later and some don't even married at all. That was unacceptable behavior in 1953. If you are not watching it for the era, you still might enjoy watching Julia Stiles, Kirsten Dunst, and Julia Roberts.

Easy

A low budget movie with an lead actress who's not afraid to take off her clothes. Mostly, very boring scenes of relationships gone bad. The lead is high spirited and sexy but that is not enough to keep the movie together.

This gives me doubts about movies that are not well known but have won this award and that award. In the end, movies that nobody watches are only made for a few that can appreciate it.

A stupid teen movie turns out to be pretty funny. Some of the things that the girls do are so stupid that makes you laugh. What twisted world can you see a lesbian criminal mastermind chase after a girl who is the lead of the US spy unit?

Jack Nicholson gives a terrific performance on his view of retirement. At times, he does get boring but if you want to see how life is at 60, this one is for you.

Jack has it rough. He has lost a lifelong job, lost his beloved wife of 42 years, and has no purpose in life. In the end, he realized more than expected.

Cellular

Can you believe that they can make another movie similar to PhoneBooth? The whole movie you see Kim Basinger talking on a broken phone to a guy on a cellphone. How ridiculous is that? Some cast members you might recognize is the man in Transporter and the man in The Cooler.

Some suspense, but I wouldn't want to watch it again.

Coyote Ugly

Lots of hot girls dancing on the bar with a lead actress who is personally progressing in her life. The movie is fast and a go getter. It will definitely raise your mood on a boring Friday night. Definitely would have wanted to see more of Tyra Banks who seems to be the only girl who knew how to dance.

Elvis Has Left the Building

What is the point of this movie? From beginning to end, I had no idea. All I know is that there are Elvis impersonators dying left and right. How did Kim Basinger get involved in such a flop? I can see Elvis rolling and turning in his grave. "Why the hell you have to use me as an icon in this totally sucky movie?"

This movie reminds me that I need to watch the trailers first.

The Man in the Iron Mask

The Muskateers are still marvelous ever time you see them. They are glorious to watch in combat and are great upholders of justice. Leo plays two characters and does it rather well. If you like medieval times, this one is for you.

Kung Fu Mahjoong

This is a dumb spoof of the movie, Kung Fu Hustle. It tries too much to be funny that it becomes stupid. It's about gambling and how a group of old timers team up to beat the bad guy of gambling. There are some laughs but don't expect anything great. If you have some time to kill, this one will just do.

Simple Life 2

RENT
This is more interesting than the first one because they visit different families. There are more adventures and they always get into trouble. After watching Paris and Nicole for a long time, you will realize that Paris doesn't really have a personality. She just looks pretty and isn't very funny. Nicole is the one that always stirs up trouble and makes everyone laughs. Paris is just the accomplise laughing in the back.

Simple Life

Paris and Nicole are entertaining to watch as they do the dumbest things. It does get boring after episodes and episodes because they stay at the same farm. I couldn't believe they had to interact with the same country people for all those scenes. That's hot can only go so far.

Be Cool

John Travolta was perfect. He was slick and cool like a cat. When you see him in movies, you know there's going to be some smooth moves. With him, there's a bunch of famous celebrities such as Celtric the Entertainer, Aerosmith, Vince Vaughn, The Rock, and Uma Thurman.

Even though the plot wasn't the best, it was fun to watch the characters mingle together and play music business.

Rescue Me:Season 1

Dennis Leary is a great actor. He was incredibility realistic as a fireman who suffered from 9/11. Raunchy at times but that's what makes it good. It is honest and straight to the point. It keeps you in suspense and you always wonder what will happen with the firefighters. There is always something new coming up.

I'm waiting for Season 2.

The Last Don 2

DUMP
The original was much better than this sequel. There is not much going on at this point. The only reason you would see this part is to see the ending. If you want to see hordes of people getting whacked, this is the one for you. Just mindless whacking.

The Last Don should have ended in the first disc.

Fever Pitch

Jim Fallon and Drew Barrymore has chemistry in this film about a man who is obsessed with the Boston Red Sox. Because of his quirk hobby, relationship are difficult for him. The characters are very likable and you want to see the happy ending, even though all romantic comedies end happy.

Wimbledon

RENT
Kirsten Dunst is remarkably cute in her role as a top tennis player who falls in love with a lower ranking British player. She is inspirational and supportive bringing his game up to the top.

Tons of tennis footage so if you are just looking for a romantic comedy, this might be kind of a drag. If you want to see how dreams are made true, check this one out.

The Longest Yard

Adam Sandler and Chris Rock had some good laughs but this is nothing spectacular. Even though it was a remake of a great movie, there was nothing great about this one. It was a good movie to pickup and have a good laugh. That's it.

It is a bonus if you love football because the second half of the movie is all football footage. Definitely a movie with a nice concept but it doesn't show in this version.

Mariah Carey: Fantasy

The concert was poorly recorded but Mariah has an incredible voice. Sometimes she should use less vibrato, but I guess that was what made her a superstar. The stage was also poorly designed, but her focus was on the music.

There was a guest appearance by Boy II Me singing One Sweet Day. Overall, a short concert that was mediocre.

The Hitchhiker Guide

RENT
A weird but interesting movie. The film starts off in a very weird way, but it gets more logical. If you always wonder the origin of Earth and things in general, this one will explain it all. You might not understand most of the explanations but an answer to life questions are provided.

Marvin, the robot with the manic depressive personality is laughingly funny and the weird theme song is surprisingly very catchy.

Crash

BUY
This is a good film to watch. Lots of famous celebrities such as Don Cheadle, Terrence Howard, Sandra Bullock, Brandan Fraser, Jennifer Esposito, and Matt Dillon. With so much popular faces, you know this will be a production with a great story.

The movie tackles racism and prejudices. It exposes all the evil that everyone is afraid to look at and face. The characters all start out as strangers to each other but all somehow collide and affect each other's lives. A inspirational and brilliant piece.

Destiny Child's World Tour

A very boring concert. Destiny Child had some great music videos but their concert was horrible. The audience was loud and you could hardly hear the singing. Also, many of the songs were remixed and quite frankly, they suck. Also, it looked like Beyonce gained like 30 pounds. Jayz, stop feeding the girl.
