Walk on the Moon
RENT
This film has a new twist. In most movies men cheat and cause havoc, but a woman cheats in this one. Diane Lane is the culprit who goes out and have fun with the blouse man. Even though the man is one of the stars in Lord of the Rings, it is no excuse for Diane to cheat.
There is a double standard here because men are flamed for cheating but Diane's cheating is almost displayed as forgiveable. That is unacceptable.
What kind of BS is that? Just execute her at the gullotine!

I still remember I was screaming at Diane Lane throughout the movie for her behavior. Perhaps, all these years, I have been so accustomed to movies, in which men cheat on their wives/girlfriends. I was not prepared for this movie, mentally. This movie is just like an atomic bomb that dropped right in front of my face. The effect is dramatic & so radical. For a minute or two, I lost myself. As a woman, I thought I would be very pleased to see a movie where the roles of the cheating game got reversed, and a man could finally taste the bitterness of betrayal. To my surprise, I was not happy to see this great twist. I didn't jump around and yelled "you go girl!". I was furious at Diane's behavior & even more upset at my own reaction. What happen to my sympathy!!!!
Haha, you go girl.
