The Matador

RENT

This will be the first time you will be seeing Pierce Brosnan in a comedic role and it works. He's not exactly James Bond, but he is still an assassin, one who has lost his cool after years of killing people. I enjoyed how they put a light spin on a topic that is pretty serious, paying top money to kill a competitor in the corporate world. Also, there is a good selection of music in the film

The first time you see Brosnan in a comedic role? Maybe, but far from his first. He was on Remington Steele for 4 plus years -- a screwball romantic comedy detective show. He had impeccable comic timic amd was an inspired physical comedian. He's also had comedic roles in Around The World In 80 Days, Mars Attacks, Laws of Attraction etc.
